The priority for Italy is growth, Confindustria President Vincenzo Boccia says

Vincenzo Boccia, President of Confindustria, was interviewed by the Italian national radio station Radio RAI on current political and economic issues. In the words of the President, the priority for Italy is growth and it is on this that we will evaluate the action of the next government. We will do this as a social actor who does not choose one part over the other. The disappointment for the zero growth of the last 14 months is obviously significant.

In the meetings with the Government held before the crisis broke out we made our proposals: cutting the tax wedge, youth inclusion plan, infrastructure. Beyond the electoral consensus, politics must have effective programs to trace the future of our country, a future based on work, growth and social inclusion.

For this reason, the industrial issue is crucial: work and industry instead seem to be forgotten terms. Infrastructures create social and economic cohesion because they connect territories, centres and peripheries - concluded the President. We must have the ambition to launch a major national and supranational investment plan for infrastructure.
