Public affairs: Nino, Pozzi and Trenta in charge of the new Brussels Utopia office

Carmine Nino, former Advisor of the President of the S&D Parliamentary Group and of the first Vice President of the European Parliament, Riccardo Pozzi, former Vice President of the YEPP and Advisor of the President of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Italian Senate, and Federico Trenta, already a member of the UTOPIA team as a specialist in public affairs, will lead the new Brussels Utopia office.

The launch of the new point of presence of the agency in the de facto capital of the European Union will be entrusted to an inaugural reception, with important guests, including: the Secretary General of the European People's Party, the Spanish Antonio López-Istúriz; Hon. Brando Benifei, Head of the Italian Delegation of the Socialist and Democratic Parliamentary Group; Hon. Carlo Fidanza, Head of the Italian Delegation of the ECR Group; and Hon. Senator Gianni Pittella, former President of the S&D Group and Vice President of the European Parliament, spoke with a video greeting.

"UTOPIA - says CEO Giampiero Zurlo - has represented for almost a decade, with competence and transparency, the interests of some of the most important companies and trade associations operating throughout Europe, and Brussels has always been a point of reference, both in my previous professional experience at the Chamber of Commerce of the European Union, and for our consulting firm. After years of constant confrontation with the European institutions, we wanted to seize the moment of the start of the new legislature, considering now indispensable our presence in a stable way, with a dedicated team, expert in European Policies and able to further qualify our consulting activity. Moreover, the opening of the new headquarters represents the first step of the new international development plan, which will see us open offices in other European capitals, so as to further support our economic and professional growth. After having been awarded by the Financial Times, in 2018 and 2019, among the "Europe's Fastest Growing Companies" - thanks to record growth rates - UTOPIA closed the 2018 balance sheet with over 3 million euros in revenues, thus marking a +31% compared to the previous year; a positive trend that is also confirmed for the current year.

Utopia, founded in Rome in 2010, can now count on a team of over 40 professionals with relevant experience in the field of institutions and politics, law and economics, communication and journalism.
